Challenge: No Transparency in Pallet Accounting

Before working with Logistica OS, Aryzta’s German entity (“Aryzta Food Solutions GmbH”) was tracking pallets and other load carriers the old fashioned way. Each warehouse kept its own Excel sheet, and pallet transactions were written by hand on paper slips. You can probably imagine the scene. Busy warehouse workers at inbound and outbound docks digging through stacks of paper, trying to match scribbles with spreadsheets.

Someone then had to collect all these slips, type everything manually into Excel and hope the numbers added up. With no central overview of pallet balances, mistakes were common. Pallets went missing. Partners disputed balances. And Aryzta was losing several hundred thousand euros every year in pallets, which is painful in a low margin business.

Both the central and regional teams now have a real time visibility of their pallet balances. Every number can be traced back to the original slip, so nothing is hidden and nothing feels like guesswork.

From the Logistica dashboard, Aryzta can send open claims with just a few clicks. Partners receive a web link showing a clear breakdown of their balances and can upload missing documents or ask questions directly. Our AI agent handles the routine follow up while Aryzta’s team focuses on the few cases that truly need human attention.

Impact on the Business
